“We have always loved designing shirts and they’re usually around the idea of lashes, so we thought this shirt was perfect. Lashes are little things that can make you happy, but now we have another little thing to make us happy. With baby Jack being in the NICU for three weeks and seeing the amazing care he received, this was a no-brainer for us. As much as we were considered a “NICU family” for three weeks, we were extremely lucky that Jack didn’t really have any terrible issues; he just needed to learn how to eat. However, after seeing some of the other little babes in there that need a little extra TLC and seeing how amazing and loving the NICU nurses are, we wanted to do something to the benefit the NICU. That is why we decided to create these shirts and this fundraiser. We hope you’ll support the amazing NICU staff at Beth Israel in honor of our little guy and all of the other babies who have to spend a little extra time in the hospital before going home.” — xoxo, Kayla & Anthony
